Finding some inspiration & new hope for 2018 at the Botanical park of Chania Crete

My journal

Just as the New Year has entered our lives one still lingerers with thoughts of the year that pasted.

For some 2017 was the best yet and for others just a bitter distant memory.

Either way, I personally want to wish 2018 to be a healthy strong and prosperous year.

 

The other day my wife, daughter, some dear friends and myself visited Chanias Botanical Park.

Nestled in the foothills of Omalos, this place is ideal for some local food and for a walk amongst Crete’s flora, fauna and other plants. Not mention many other specimens from around the world.

Popular in the Summer on the way to the Samaria Gorge, visiting the Botanical Park is ideal for the entire family. And very photogenic.

Anyway, happy new year.

Some of the best rising wedding photographers in the world
When the highly respected list of rising photographers of Rangefinder Magazine came out, I was stunned and ecstatic to see familiar names on the list. Well for this bunch of photographers it is obvious that the world has spoken and stated that they are ahead of their game and leading the way to new and exciting places. Visiting “The Big Blue” of Amorgos Greece
The island of Amorgos has been on my bucket list since 1988 when the movie, The Big Blue first came out. A few years earlier my family had moved from the States to my mothers island of Lesvos then later to Crete. The movies’ cinematography and music simply revoked all the positive of the island live in Greece.
