So when tasked to shoot Ioanna for Rise Above Fear I decided to take the shoot indoors. Ambassadors Residence Hotel in the Venetian harbor was just perfect for the purpose. Ioanna, a 400m track and field athlete shined in the luxurious atmosphere of the hotel. Inspired by the Spring colors of the Apokoronoas region in Chania Crete Greece, this photo shoot by wedding planners, Crete for Love, brought out that warm fuzzy feeling you get when you visit the area. The region of Apokoronas is a mixture of seafront and mountain villages of unparalleled charm. A Historic chapel and a the family vineyard of Dourakis were the backdrop of the session, photographed by Andreas Markakis. This very Greek session was honored to have 2008 Olympian Eleni Tziraki (Synchronized swimming) as a bride and dressed by Xamam, providing Greek designed dresses and accessories. A behind the scenes look at the photo shoot I did for Dourakis Winery this past February. I really enjoyed the rustic feel of the area and warm family bond between the members of the Dourakis family. The area and the family make for some good wine worth experiencing. Plus you can visit the winery for wine tasting and lunch or a dinner. A behind the scenes look of The Wolves Workshop by me, Andreas Markakis. I attended the workshop in November of 2015. It was an experience for the soul combined with the teachings of top notch photographers. Located in La Graciosa of the Canary Islands of Spain, I must say fell in love with the luminous volcanic landscapes.
