Grandkids, siblings, wives husbands and grandparents for a 2 hour photo session.
My goal as the Rethymno photographer Crete was to capture images with each family separately then all together then to make a buch of combinations with just siblings, grandparents with their grandchildren, cousins and whatever else we could come up with.

During my visit there I managed to hang out and set up a photo shoot with a French family.
The session was a simple walk from the old town of Chora up the long stair walk to the church of Panagia.

Michaila came in touch with me as her husband and two children would be visiting Chania Crete during the Summer. She wanted to get some social media and business portraits and of course capture her family with the Venetian harbor of Chania in the background.

A few years back Thomas & Charlotte had traveled to Crete for their destination wedding.
And now after keeping in touch they have come back to the island of Crete as parents.

Taking Penelope for the first time to the Acropolis in Athens Greece

Our daughter has fallen asleep countless times with stories from Greek mythology. One of her favorites is how Athens got its name from the goddess Athena. Walking around the Acropolis then up to the sacred hill to the Parthenon was very special for even at the age of seven.

Most of the time you hear about people visiting Sicily during the Summer months to enjoy the sun and swim in the beautiful beaches the Italian island has to offer.

Yes, Santorini has another side to it.

After visiting Santorini many times you are lucky to discover the local aspects of the island. One of them being the small town of Pyrgos. This is usually where I love to stay when I go with my family. This year after having lunch in the town square of Pyrgos at Kantouni restaurant we booked or stay on the beach of Perivolos. Staying on the cliffs of Santorinis Caldera in the middle of August is completely insane. Prices are through the roof and the crowds make it somewhat unpleasant. And after visiting the calmness of Amorgos we chose to be on the beach. A bit more family-friendly and spacious it was a welcome 2 nights. The volcan ...

Visiting “The Big Blue” of Amorgos Greece

The island of Amorgos has been on my bucket list since 1988 when the movie, The Big Blue first came out. A few years earlier my family had moved from the States to my mothers island of Lesvos then later to Crete. The movies’ cinematography and music simply revoked all the positive of the island live in Greece. Walking up the steps to the monastery of Chozoviotisa then swimming in the crystal clear waters just bellow Saint Anna was as if living in Luc Besson’s majestic film.
