The island of Crete is most visited during the Summer for its amazing beaches scenic countryside and pleasant lifestyle.

Yet the island has many hidden gems that are worth seeing during the Winter months when temperatures rarely go below 10 degrees Celsius.

Such was the location I chose to photograph the family temporarily living in Greece for the States.

With Winter now here, shooting a swimsuit feature isn’t an easy task. The temperature even on the island of Crete has dropped some. So when tasked to shoot Ioanna for Rise Above Fear I decided to take the shoot indoors. Ambassadors Residence Hotel in the Venetian harbor was just perfect for the purpose.
