Chania Crete family photographer (The Pedersen’s from Norway)

families

Family photography sessions in Chania, Crete are always fun for me. Especially when young kids are involved.

Although the kids bring up the challenge factor due to their natural spontaneity.

I have to be extra sharp not only to catch the right instance of a moment, but better yet, foresee it coming.

Being a rookie dad myself chasing my little girl around all day helps too 🙂

The Pedersen’s from Norway contacted my asking to be photographed somewhere with local nature and also on the beach. A very nice combination.

I suggested the well managed Botanical Gardens in Chania for the first part, then the beach in front of their hotel at Agia Marina, Chania.

They trusted me and it paid off.

A photographic walk around the Acropolis in Athens Greece.
This past Summer I photographed the wedding of my friends Christo and Eleni in Chania Crete Greece. On the same day they baptized their little boy Dimitri. The unfortunate part of the whole day was that Dimittri go bitten by a bug the night before and had his hansom face swollen throughout he day. So I decided one day to make it up to the champ. The family live in Athens so we never had a everyday chance to meet up and have me photograph Dimitri.   A few weeks ago I was on a business trip in Athens and finally had an opportunity keep my promise.   I wanted to photograph Dimitri with a new approach I am trying. ...
