Visiting “The Big Blue” of Amorgos Greece
The island of Amorgos has been on my bucket list since 1988 when the movie, The Big Blue first came out.
A few years earlier my family had moved from the States to my mothers island of Lesvos then later to Crete. The movies’ cinematography and music simply revoked all the positive of the island live in Greece.
Walking up the steps to the monastery of Chozoviotisa then swimming in the crystal clear waters just bellow Saint Anna was as if living in Luc Besson’s majestic film.
Doing this with my family was even better. Both my wife and daughter loved the place. And my personal expectations were also met.

Family vacation photo shoot on the island of Crete in Greece
So you have just booked your perfect trip to Greece and are planning on visiting the island of Crete with your family. Perhaps the city of Agios Nicholas on the Eastern part of the island, or Heraklion in the center or the picturesque Rethymno with its Fotezza fortress and old town.
Or better yet the city of Chania in Western Crete with the stunning Venetian harbor and trademark lighthouse.
If this is the case, then you should arrange for a family photo shoot.
Personally, I am based in the Chania and mostly work in this area and in some cases I will go to Rethymno for family photo shoots.

Looking back at the Wolves Workshop in the Canary Islands
It was that time of the year for me. I had to take a break and expand my knowledge. The best part of it was that I could combine those both together.
How did this happen?
Well, there happened to be a passionate Spanish photographer called Pablo Beglez with an itch for sharing knowledge and for meeting and making new friends.
Pablo put together The Wolves Workshop on a heavenly little island off the cost of Lanzarote called La Graciosa.
