Olive groove and beach family session on the island of Crete

families

While living on the island of Crete from the States, Jamie and Shawn were blessed with their little boy Phenix.

After about 5 years it was time to head back home to San Diego, California. Best of all before departing, we arranged for a photo shoot on the beach with Jamie expecting their second child.

Up until a few hours of this photo shoot in the Old Town of Chania, I wasn’t sure if it was going to happen. Due to the weather changing every other day I thought that the family wanted bright sun and crystal blue skies. But Jakob and Soley live in Iceland and the cloudy weather didn’t bother them at all. During my visit there I managed to hang out and set up a photo shoot with a French family. The session was a simple walk from the old town of Chora up the long stair walk to the church of Panagia.
