3 years and counting

My journal

Penelope turned 3 the other day and reminded us once again that time waits for no one.

So I personally try to slow down and enjoy it. Easier said than done, but an effort must be made in that direction.

Together with loved ones we celebrated our little miracle. We blew 3 candles, ate some cake, opened gifts and set sail for the next year.

Happy birthday Penelope.

Taking Penelope for the first time to the Acropolis in Athens Greece
Our daughter has fallen asleep countless times with stories from Greek mythology. One of her favorites is how Athens got its name from the goddess Athena. Walking around the Acropolis then up to the sacred hill to the Parthenon was very special for even at the age of seven.

Bringing some local lifestyle to a villa photo shoot in the South of Crete
Photographing villas for me is a substantial part of my work. The main aspect I try to implement in this type of work is of genuine lifestyle during each photo shoot. This is what I incorporated when I recently photographed a small villa in the renowned village of Sfakia in the South of Crete.
