Marjaana was an inspiring story that came across to me scrolling my Instagram feed a while back.
Miss Plus Model of Finland in 2017 she is a woman that took on the challenge of losing over 150 pounds!
Of course not an easy challenge but one she tackled and came out a winner.
Proud of her body, Marjaana accepted to have a boudoir session while on vacation here in Chania Crete, Greece.
My favorite portraits to shoot are the ones of people that have something to tell me with their eyes and freely know what to do with their bodies.
A wife and a mother, Marjaana is proof that it’s not easy, but with the right mindset you can take control and be beautiful internally and on the outside.
I also wanted to show that boudoir isn’t for hard, skinny and long bodies that most consider sexy. But it is how you feel inside that matters.
