Family photographer in Rethymno Crete shoot at Arkadi Monastery

families

A family trip to the island of Crete turned into a reunion as some members live in Asia and others in California.

During their vacation, the family was brought together so they decided to celebrate this moment with a family photo shoot.
Elijah contacted me and specifically requested to have the photo session in the historical Monastery of Arkadi in Rethymno, Crete.

The age span was from a few months old all the way to grandma and grandpa.
The monastery grounds were ideal as it provided multiple locations and backdrops all within a few meters apart from each other.

Our little Penelope

Recently though I have been experiencing new heights of picture taking due to my newborn little girl Penelope. Because of her I have changed the way I view life and have become even more sensitive to my subjects.   What I wanted to share with everyone is the joy of newborn photo sessions via my own baby. In Greece it isn’t as popular as in the States for example, but I have hope that people will accept me into their homes before their child turn 40 days old. Not an easy obstacle to tackle, but doable.  I am so hap ...
